Meet The Team

Nongcebo Buthelezi

As Chief Fundraising Officer and Founder of this non-profit fundraising project, I am responsible for leading the team in developing and executing successful fundraising plans. My role includes overseeing all fundraising activities, from setting goals and developing strategies to implementing campaigns and evaluating results. I also serve as the team's primary liaison to external stakeholders, such as donors and sponsors. I am committed to helping this project reach its fundraising goals and make a positive impact on our community.

Eva Hutcheon

I am a dedicated reader and volunteer in this project that helps out wherever I can. Mainly as a volunteer I read stories for children (and anyone else who wants to) to listen and begin that connection with reading.

Firdavs Zavkiev

With a great passion to raise  worldwide literacy rate, I am a volunteer reader and content coordinator in this project.

Jelena Brankovic

I contributed to Book Bytes initiative as a member of the audio content creation team, dedicated to producing free and accessible material for children worldwide. This all would not be possible without WLF, who enabled us to make a difference and to spark knowledge, illuminating young minds and igniting a passion for learning.

Liteboho Moeketse

As an ambassador for WLF, I have been actively promoting the organisation and its mission. I have been sharing my personal journey and experiences, emphasising the significance of literacy and education. Through various platforms and channels, I aim to raise awareness and inspire others to join this important cause.

Olamide Ogunsakin

As a member of BookBytes, I aim to contribute my quota which is alleviating 

illiteracy through volunteering as a reader of moralistic tales for young children to improve their reading proficiency.

As a Certified Professional Teacher and a voice-over artist, I serve as a Volunteer Reader and content coordinator in the Book Bytes: Tales That Spark Project. I expressively read short stories for children aged 3 years and younger to excite and spark their literacy skills.
